2025 SM Entertainment Plans :Unveils Star-Studded Lineup Celebrating 30th Anniversary
SM Entertainment has announced a packed lineup of debuts and comebacks for the first half of 2025, marking a significant milestone in its 30-year history. The entertainment giant revealed its plans on February 11, 2025, which include a mix of new and established artists.
Hearts2Hearts Debut and Rookie’s Comebacks
The lineup features the debut of new girl group Hearts2Hearts on February 24 with their single “The Chase”, marking the first new girl group debut in five years since aespa. Other notable debuts includes RIIZE preparing their first full-length album and a new rookie group NCT WISH releasing a new mini-album.
Established groups like aespa, WayV, and SHINee are set to make comebacks with new albums. aespa, following their recent hits, will release a new mini-album, while SHINee is preparing a single album. WayV is also expected to drop a new mini-album.
Solo Artists and Unit Groups
Solo artists such as NCT’s Doyoung, Mark, Red Velvet’s Seulgi, NCT’s Ten, and EXO’s Kai are returning with new music. Additionally, unit groups like Super Junior-L.S.S. and Red Velvet’s Irene & Seulgi are planning comebacks.
Concerts and Tours
SM Entertainment’s concert lineup is equally impressive, with SMTOWN LIVE kicking off a world tour in Mexico, the U.S., and the U.K. Other notable tours include NCT 127 and aespa’s ongoing world tours, TVXQ’s Japan national tour, WayV’s first solo concert tour, and Asia tours by NCT WISH, Super Junior’s Yesung, SHINee’s Minho, and Taeyeon.
Commemorative Album
On February 14, 2025, SM will release the 2025 SMTOWN: The Culture, The Future album, featuring 17 tracks, including remakes of iconic SM hits. This album marks a significant part of SM’s 30th-anniversary celebrations and symbolizes the company’s preparation for a new future.
