39th Golden Disc Awards 1st Line up, the star studded!
The Golden Disc Awards Secretariat has announced the first lineup for the 39th Golden Disc Awards, set to take place on January 4-5, 2025, at the Fukuoka PayPay Dome in Japan. The two-day event will showcase a mix of established acts and rising stars in the K-pop industry.
On January 4, the digital music category will feature performances by NewJeans, LE SSERAFIM, BIBI, Crush, Kiss of Life, TWS, the debut group from Project 7, and (G)I-DLE. The following day, January 5, will spotlight the album category with appearances by NCT WISH, ZEROBASEONE, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER.
NewJeans, attending for the third consecutive year, will kick off their 2025 at the Golden Disc Awards after a successful year that included a sold-out Tokyo Dome fan meeting and a historic performance at Japan’s “Countdown Japan 24/25” festival. LE SSERAFIM, also marking their third appearance, is expected to deliver a special performance following their chart-topping success with “EASY” and impressive showing on Japan’s Oricon Chart.
BIBI will make her Golden Disc Awards debut, riding high on the success of “Bamyanggang” and her recent acting accolades. Crush, the sole solo artist in the lineup, returns to the Golden Disc Awards stage after an eight-year hiatus, fresh from his chart-topping OST for “Queen of Tears”.

Rookie groups are also making their mark. Kiss of Life will make their Golden Disc Awards debut, showcasing the explosive live performances that have captivated audiences. TOORS, the refreshing newcomers, will greet their Japanese fans with a special performance before their official Japanese debut.
The event will also feature the first-ever performance by the debut group from JTBC’s “Project 7,” offering fans an exciting glimpse of the newly formed team.
(G)I-DLE, nominated in both digital and album categories, returns to the Golden Disc Awards stage after their recent successes with “Fate” and “Queencard”.
The January 5 lineup is equally impressive. NCT WISH, debuting in February, will make their Golden Disc Awards debut, celebrating their rapid rise to fame. ZEROBASEONE, last year’s Rookie of the Year winners, return with new accolades, including their recent success in Japan. TOMORROW X TOGETHER, fresh from their Billboard 200 success, are set to captivate audiences once again.
The 39th Golden Disc Awards 2025 will be broadcast live on JTBC2 and JTBC4 at 6 PM KST on both days, with a delayed broadcast at 12 PM on JTBC2. Fans can look forward to the second lineup announcement on January 9, 2025.
