In K-pop industry, many things are being a competition between fans. This time, aespa Karina’s fancam view counts became a controversy.
aespa has comeback with Supernova, their pre-released song of their 1st full-length album, ‘Armaggadon.’ The group is showing their perfect stage manners and a singing ability successfully on music show stages. As they are active in music shows, the individual fancams were posted on each channels’ YouTube channel.
One of aespa Karina’s fancam showed unbelievable view counts, and people raised questions. Nowadays, some K-pop lovers think view counts are the proof of the popularity, some thought it was a strategy of Karina’s fans to prove their idol’s popularity.
China Karina Bar posts statement about the rumor
However, aespa Karina’s China Bar has made an announcement that they do not have any relation with the issue.
On May 20th, 2024, the views for the Super Nova face cam uploaded on Inkigayo exhibited an abnormal increase of 500,000 views overnight, deviating significantly from the usual trend of direct cams. In response of this issue, CN Karina fans, including those in Korea would like to clarify that they have no involvement in this matter.
We are deeply perplexed by the numerous suspicions arising from this situation. Karina fans will no longer overlook this recurring and will formally inquire with YouTube regarding the irregular view count, actively requesting correction of the views on the problematic direct cam.
Until the correction is made, we will exclude this direct cam from Karina’s records. We will work closely with Korean fans to promptly resolve this issue and ensure the view count is corrected swiftly.
We kindly request that rumors about Karina, stemming from the current situation, be ceased. Thank you.
