Fire broke out at aespa Supernova stage
Fans are worried about the group aespa’s comeback due a circumstance.
According to CJ ENM on the 16th, a fire broke out on the set of Mnet’s “M Countdown,” where aespa was about to appear, and the pre-recorded schedule for the comeback stage of aespa was suspended. A fire reportedly broke out at the “M Countdown” located in the CJ ENM Center in Sangam, Mapo-gu, Seoul, this morning (16th), and an accident occurred due to a problem with the filming set.
The fire was suppressed before it spread significantly, and the aespa and the audience were evacuated, leaving no injuries.
However, due to the accident, the pre-recording schedule of aespa’s comeback was canceled as Winter and other members who were at the scene were seen with poor condition after the incident.
aespa Winter’s poor condition
Earlier, SM Entertainment said on the 12th that Winter is recovering from a recent pneumothorax surgery. At that time, Winter was found to have had a schedule in Japan ahead of the pneumothorax surgery, which caused many fans to worry. On the same day, aespa was scheduled to perform “Supernova,” the double title track of aespa’s first full-length album, which was released on the 13th at “M Countdown.” The timing of the recording’s resumption is undecided. It might be hard to see aespa supernova pre-recorded stage, but just a live stage.
When news of the cancellation of the aespa recording spread, members came to Bubble, the communication application, to calm down the fans who were worried. By the members’ words fans were comforted, however it seems that there is no choice but to worry about the singer’s condition.
