The group AMPERS&ONE thanked its senior FNC Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as FNC) artists, who tried their best to give advices and supports.

Ampers&One recently held an interview at the FNC headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul to commemorate the release of its first mini-album, “ONE QUESTION,” and discussed various stories about the new album.

The album contains a total of six songs, including the title song “He + She = We,”, which is a witty expression of a special relationship that completes each other beyond just a relationship formula.

THE TITLE SONG and Jung Yonghwa

In the title song, Jung Yong-hwa of CNBLUE, a senior member of the agency, participated in writing and composing the lyrics and supported Ampers&One. The group member, Kim Seung-mo explained, “Thankfully, Jung Yonghwa also wrote, composed, and directed the title song. I was very nervous, but when recording, he directed me carefully and taught me a lot of vocal skills.”

Na Kamden said, “I saw that Yong Hwa tried to make each and every lyrics and melody to sound good. He even found a part that would sound much better in my parts during the directing. I was moved because I felt that he was trying to make the result as good as possible.” They never stopped talking about director Jung Yonghwa.

Lyricist Lee Seunghyub and songs

Lee Seunghyub of N.Flying participated in writing the lyrics and composition of “Fly,” as well as “Calling You Back,” “Slide,” and “Whip It.”

Na Kamden emphasized, “Seung Hyub tried to help us as much as possible, too. He also helped me a lot when I was making rap. He did not just wrote lyrics but also gave me feedback on how to make the flow sound fun and fresh. I didn’t see the entire senior’s work process, but I felt that he worked hard for Ampersandone. I really wanted to say thank you to him.”

Na Kamden and Mackiah were also included in the credits for their participation in writing “Whip It.” Notably, Mackiah said, “I received feedback from Seung Hyub while rapping with Kamden for the first time. My dream has been to make my own songs since I was young, and I was happy to participate. I thought I wanted to continue to work hard.”
