BABY MONSTER is a rookie who recently debuted under YG entertainment. BABY MONSTER is the group is a first girl group debuting from YG entertainment after 7 years from BLACK PINK’s debut. So everyone was enthusiastic and was having anticipation on the new group. However, now everyone is having a question mark in their minds. The group has released only a song and music video of the debut song and has not promoted anything at all. Where is ‘BABY MONSTER PROMOTION’ ? So some people are asking if they had an official debut or it was just a pre debut song.
The group does not have the members’ tweeting account. Most of idols do have tweeting accounts to communicate with fans. If they do not have it, the groups use ‘Bubble’ or ‘Weverse’. YG entertainment is a company that uses ‘Weverse’, however ‘BABY MONSTER’ did not enter the store. So the group does not have any platform to communicate with fans. For idols, communicating with fans is the way to show their charms and the way to gain fans.
No Contact with Media
It is not just from fans, they are maintaining a mystical strategy to. BABY MONSTER is not having a contact with social medias, too. The group did not hold a press conference nor showcase with public. It wasn’t just that. The agency, YG entertainment announced that they don’t have a plan for BABY MONSTER’s stage at a music show. They said the members will release ‘performance video’ instead of music show.
The group is releasing behind videos of the music video shooting and others, however there is no platform that fans can really see them. Every content is controlled by the agency. So one news outlet even wrote the title of the article saying, “Is this a virtual group?”
Maybe being mystical had worked in past, and it may work even now. However, fans who were waiting for the debut might need more contents.
