The youngest member of BABYMONSTER, Chiquita, pointed Asa as a mother-like member.
On April 16, MBC FM4U’s “It’s Kim Shin-young, the song of hope at noon,” YG’s newest rookie girl group, BABY MONSTER appeared as guests. On the same day, Rora said the meaning of the team’s name. ” ‘BABY MONSTER’ Baby is a word that expresses our infinite potential. It means that monsters having huge capabilities.”
When DJ Kim Shin Young asked, “Who is like a baby regardless of age and needs a lot of care?” the members chose the 15-year-old youngest, Chiquita. “She is the same age as my niece,” Kim Shin Young said in amazement after knowing the age of Chiquita.
Kim Shin Young asked who takes most care like mother, and Chiquita pointed Asa as a mother-like member. Asa said, “I am a bit good at cooking. Chiquita gets hungry easily as Chikquita is growing up. So I try to cook for her.”
