The rookie group debuted from YG, Baby Monster will begin its full-fledged activities as a whole group of seven members.

YG Entertainment, the agency, posted “BABYMONSTER – 1st MINI ALBUM ‘BABYMONS7ER’ ANNOUNCEMENT” on its official blog on the 28th. As previously announced, the group Baby Monster’s first debut album will be released on April 1.

The sound of the synths resonating at the beginning of the video is powerful. Additive riffs and powerful beats give a grand impression, and the cries of “BABYMONSTER” that reveal the members’ bold aspirations are stuck in my mind. The scene where the red logo shakes to the music also caught my eye.

Starting with this album, Baby Monster plans to be actively active as a seven-member group with Ahyeon joining. As the album name “BABYMONS7ER” changed the team English spelling T to 7 symbolizing seven members, special musical synergy is expected among those who have been reborn as the whole group. Ahyeon was in hiatus even before the debut due to health issue. CLICK HERE to read more about her health issue.

Meanwhile, pre-orders for Baby Monster’s first mini-album, the same name as the group, will run from the day until March 31. The album is prepared in two versions: a photo book and YG tag album, and is made of paper and soybean oil ink certified by the FSC (International Forest Management Council) as part of YG’s active actions to protect the environment.

The photo book and tag album consist of a big and small photo book, a random selfie photo card, a wikibook, and a pin badge that incorporates the charms of Baby Monster, respectively. Bundle boxes and special photo card sets will also be provided to hold albums when purchasing a set of first-time tag albums. From April 1, YG Select, Ktown4U, Weverse Shop, Kakao Gift, and other online and offline music stores nationwide.
