Earlier, Baby Monster confirmed the official debut date of the seven members as a whole on April 1 and released its first mini-album, “BABYMONS7ER.” The music video for the title song “SHEESH” achieved a new record of 100 million views (10 days) for the shortest K-pop girl group debut song, and is currently approaching 300 million views, exceeding 296 million views. The choreography video is also gaining huge popularity, surpassing 150 million views.

Baby Monster’s popularity began slowly, not as a standard promotion, but as the live skills of the seven members were highlighted. When it was first released, “SHHESH” did not make much of an impact on major charts, but it entered the top of the list as the members’ excellent live skills were known and stayed for a long time.

Afterwards, Baby Monster pre-released “FOREVER,” one of the songs in the album, on July 1 to warm up expectations before the release of the full-length album. On top of that, the BABYMONSTER members created a consensus with their fans over 12 times in seven Asian cities through global fan meetings, and on the stage of “Summer Sonic 2024,” Japan’s largest music festival, he imprinted his talent as a newcomer with skills that are out of reach for music fans around the world.

YG said, “For the many global fans who have been rooting for and waiting for Baby Monster, we wanted to tell you the news of the confirmed release of the full-length album. We hope this album will provide an opportunity to meet the fans who have been rooting for Baby Monster from afar. Now it is the final stage for a bigger new beginning. We will tell you the details including the release date soon.”
