YG’s newly launched girl group, BabyMonster Ahyeon returns to the team.
On January 25th, a video titled “Baby Monster | YG Surprise Awesome” was released on YG Entertainment’s official YouTube channel. In the released video, the producer, Yang Hyun Suk said, “Fortunately, Ahyeon has completely recovered her health. Starting today, Ahyeon is officially back on YG and recording songs for the album.” He added, “The previously released song will also be included in the album as a version of the seven members, including Ahyeon. Ahyeon will participate in the recording. You can expect seven perfect BabyMonster from this mini album.”
ON BABYMONSTER DEBUT SEASON
BabyMonster debuted with “Batter Up” in November last year, but Ahyeon failed to join the group due to health issue. Rumors of “Leaving” and “Being bullied” were circulating, but YG said all of them were not true. They said its just due to her health issue, and no other problem has occurred. They said, she will be back when she becomes healthy. Fans hoped to see BABYMONSTER Ahyeon.
After two months from the debut, Ahyeon has regained her health and joined the team again. Yang Hyun Suk also revealed that BabyMonster is preparing for a mini album to release on April 1st and a full-length album in the fall. “We have recruited a lot of YG’s internal producers. We increased the number of producers from around 10 to 40 to 50. We promise it will be much faster and speedy,” he said. It seems he was concerning about YG’s reputation among K-POP fans. Earlier K-POP fans said, YG is a liar, who never release album on time. He was showing that this time YG has changed.
