Bang Chan, a leader of the group Stray Kids, donated 100 million won and shared the love he received from his fans to the society.
On the occasion of his birthday on October 3, Bang Chan of Stray Kids donated a total of 100 million won to the Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Kim Byung Joon) to repay the fans’ love and join the virtuous cycle of sharing. With this, he became a member of the Honor Society, a group of high-value donors worth more than 100 million won run by the fruit of love.
The fund delivered by Bang Chan will be used to help people with developmental disabilities and will be used for physical fitness projects through training to strengthen the capacity of sports athletes with developmental disabilities and establishing a health examination system.
Bang Chan said, “I’m grateful to be able to share a little bit of meaningful love from the fans for my birthday. I hope that small sharing reaches beyond reach.”
Meanwhile, Stray Kids is showing off its distinct popularity by performing global activities. On October 6 (local time), along with the Grammy Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and MTV Video Music Awards, they will attend the American Music Awards, one of the four major popular music awards in the United States, as a performer for the second time in K-pop group history. On November 13, they will release their second full-length album “GIANT” in about a year and nine months after Japan’s first full-length album “THE SOUND.”
It will also expand its presence by launching the new world tour “Stray Kids World Tour ,” which opened at KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul from August 24 to 25 and 31 to September 1. It will also tour the Singapore National Stadium, which marked its first K-pop 4th generation group entry on September 28, as well as the Melbourne Marble Stadium, Sydney Allianz Stadium, Kaohsiung National Stadium, Bangkok National Stadium and Jakarta’s Gelora Bung Karno Madhya Stadium.
