BIGBANG Daesung Wraps Up 1st Solo Seoul Concert with Surprise Appearances from Taeyang and G-Dragon
Daesung of BIGBANG drew a full house for his first-ever solo concert in Korea, “DAESUNG 2025 ASIA TOUR: D’s WAVE IN SEOUL,” held on April 26 and 27 at Olympic Hall in Seoul. The event was packed with energy, emotion, and a few unforgettable surprises-including special guest appearances from fellow BIGBANG members Taeyang and G-Dragon.
A Setlist Spanning New Hits and Old Favorites
Daesung kicked off the show with “Universe,” the title track from his recently released mini album, and debuted live performances of new songs like “Last Girl (with Han Yohan)” and “JUMP.” He also treated fans to emotional renditions of “Falling Slowly,” “Light,” “Trying to Smile,” and “Baby Don’t Cry.” The concert featured a mix of his Japanese releases, including “Utautai no Ballad,” “Rainy Rainy,” and “Dress,” drawing enthusiastic cheers from the crowd.
BIGBANG Reunion Lights Up the Stage
The highlight for many came when Taeyang joined Daesung as a special guest on April 26, delivering a memorable collaboration. On April 27, both Taeyang and G-Dragon took the stage, reuniting as BIGBANG to perform hits like “HOME SWEET HOME,” “BANG BANG BANG,” and “Sober.” The surprise reunion electrified the audience and brought back memories of BIGBANG’s legendary group performances.
A Milestone for Daesung’s Solo Career
This concert marked Daesung’s first solo headlining show in Korea, showcasing his growth as an artist and his commanding stage presence. The production featured stunning visuals, top-tier live vocals, and heartfelt interactions with fans. In a handwritten letter shared after the concert, Daesung reflected, “After a year of working hard on albums, shows, and broadcasts, it’s truly special to hold my first solo concert here. Last year, I watched Taeyang’s concert at this very venue and dreamed of this moment. I’m so grateful that dream became a reality.”
He added, “New challenges are never easy, but thanks to the support of my team and, most importantly, the love from fans, I was able to make this stage happen. I hope we can continue to create unforgettable memories together.”

With his Seoul concerts a resounding success, Daesung will continue his “D’s WAVE” Asia tour with upcoming shows in Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Hong Kong, Kobe, and Yokohama.
