BigHit Music Denies Rumors of BTS Joining Michael Jackson Tribute Album

BigHit Music Issues Official Statement After Rumors Go Viral
BigHit Music has officially denied claims that BTS participated in a Michael Jackson tribute album, following widespread rumors online.

On August 5, the agency released a statement via BTS’s official channels:
“The reports claiming BTS has participated in a Michael Jackson tribute album are not true.”

The notice, titled “Regarding Reports of BTS’s Participation in Michael Jackson Tribute Album,” clarified:
“Recent reports include inaccurate information. BTS has neither visited Grouse Lodge Studio in Ireland nor recorded there. Additionally, the claim that BTS joined a Michael Jackson tribute album is false.”

How the Rumor Started
The speculation began after the Michael Jackson community MJ Vibe published an article claiming BTS was part of a tribute album featuring unreleased tracks. The post even suggested BTS had completed recording, sparking excitement among fans.

The rumor spread quickly, leading to “Michael Jackson x BTS” trending on X (formerly Twitter) on August 4 with over 100,000 mentions in an hour.
