Hello, we’re Big Hit Music.
We will like to inform you of the follow-up progress regarding the legal action to protect the rights and interests of BTS.
We would like to clarify that the recent hoarding marketing, concept theft, Dahn World-related rumors, and pseudo-suspicious allegations to defame and slander BTS are not true.
We have decided that the act of creating malicious rumors through the spread of false information related to artists has reached a level that can no longer be tolerated, and we have informed you that we will appoint a separate law firm to take stern action.
As a result, we collected a number of posts that correspond to the spread of false information and defamation and submitted the first complaint to the investigative agency today (on May 2). Postings that were systematically written and deleted and posts that blew up accounts were also included in the complaint without exception. We would like to inform you that we plan to file additional complaints through continuous monitoring and evidence.
We will take civil and criminal legal action against malicious rumors that undermine the artist’s reputation as a principle of zero tolerance, and we plan to take strong action until the end without agreement or leniency so that perpetrators of illegal activities can be punished.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to our fans regarding this matter. We will continue to do everything in our power to protect the rights and interests of artists.
