BLACKPINK LISA Nominated for 4 categories!
Group BLACKPINK Lisa, BTS Jungkook, NCT Dream, Stray Kids, Tomorrow X Together, LE SSERAFIM, and New Jeans were nominated side by side at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards in the United States.
The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards (MTV VMA) in the United States announced this year’s award list on its official website and social medias on the 6th (local time).
Lisa was nominated for four categories: “Best K-Pop,” “Best Choreography,” “Best Art Direction” and “Best Editing” for her solo song “Rockstar.”
Jungkook was nominated for two categories: “Best Collaboration” and “Best K-Pop” with “Seven” featuring rapper Lato.
LE SSERAFIM was nominated for the “PUSH Performance of the Year” category for “Easy.” For “Push Performance of the Year,” artists who were previously selected for the “MTV PUSH” campaign will compete for the trophy. LE SSERAFIM was the first K-pop girl group to be named the artist of June for the “MTV PUSH” campaign.
In addition, following Lisa’s “Rock Star” and Jungkook’s “Seven,” NCT Dream’s “Smoothie,” Stray Kids’ “Rock,” Tomorrow X Together’s “Deja Vu,” and New Jeans’ “Super Shy” were listed on the “Best K-Pop” category.
“2024 MTV VMA” will be held at UBS Arena in New York on September 10.
