BTS Jimin donate 100 million!
Jimin, a member of BTS, donated 100 million won to the South Gyeongsang Provincial Office of Education. Starting with the Busan Office of Education in 2019, Jimin has donated 100 million won each to the South Jeolla Provincial Office of Education in 2020, the Gangwon Office of Education in 2022, and the North Chungcheong Office of Education in 2023. BTS Jimin donate to most of the provinces to help students’ educations.
The South Gyeongsang Provincial Office of Education held a donation ceremony at the superintendent’s office on the 30th, in which BTS Jimin’s father, Park Hyun Soo, delivered 100 million won to the Gyeongsangnam-do Future Education Foundation under the name of “Park Jimin (BTS Jimin’s real name).” The BTS Jimin donation ceremony was held on the 30th as Jimin called the office of the superintendent of education of the South Gyeongsang Provincial Office of Education and expressed his intention to donate 100 million won to students in South Gyeongsang Province who are in a difficult environment. At Jimin’s request, the scene and press release of the donation ceremony were not distributed, and held privately.
“We thank Jimin for sharing his warm heart for the future of his children,” the Gyeongnam Office of Education said. “The donation will be used as a resource for the education formation asset program (i-like bankbook project) run by the Gyeongnam Future Education Foundation to help low-income high school students grow.”
