Billboard announced on November 26 (KST) that “Running Wild,” the title track from Jin’s solo album “Happy,” debuted at No. 53 on the Hot 100 chart dated November 30. This accomplishment represents Jin’s second entry on the Hot 100 as a solo artist, following his 2022 single “The Astronaut,” which peaked at No. 51.
Jin’s success extends beyond the Hot 100, with his album “Happy” projected to rank fourth on the Billboard 200 chart. This dual chart presence underscores the global appeal of Jin’s solo work and highlights his growing influence in the international music scene.
BTS JIN Running Wild, released on November 15, 2023, as part of Jin’s solo album “Happy,” has been making waves on global charts. The pop-rock track with British rock influences reached No. 8 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart and peaked at No. 25 on the UK’s Official Singles Chart, setting new career highs for Jin as a solo artist.
In addition to “Running Wild,” Jin is set to release another track titled “Falling (君に届くまで, 네게 닿을 때까지) (feat. Taka)” on November 26 at 2 p.m. KST. This collaboration features Taka, the vocalist of Japanese band ONE OK ROCK, who also contributed to Jin’s album. The upcoming release is expected to showcase Jin’s versatility as a solo performer and further expand his international fanbase.
