BTS’s Jungkook has once again proven his dominance as a global streaming powerhouse, hitting new milestones on Spotify that are redefining what it means to be a K-pop solo artist.
His collaboration with R&B legend Usher, “Standing Next to You – Usher Remix,” recently surpassed 100 million streams, making it Jungkook’s 19th solo track on his personal Spotify account to cross that threshold—a first and only achievement among all K-pop soloists.
Notably, Jungkook now has 22 tracks with over 100 million streams when including BTS album songs such as “Euphoria,” “My Time,” and “Begin.” His solo hits like “Seven” (2.54B), “Standing Next to You” (1.29B), “Left and Right” (1.11B), and “3D” (1B), along with “Dreamers,” “Still With You,” “My You,” “Too Sad To Dance,” and “Shot Glass of Tears,” continue to perform globally.
He also became the first Asian solo artist to achieve four songs surpassing 1 billion streams, and “Seven” remains the **only track by an Asian act to hit 2.54 billion streams. These numbers further cement his status as a true global pop icon.
Jungkook’s chart achievements are equally staggering:
- “Seven” has remained on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart for 113 consecutive weeks, the longest-ever run for an Asian soloist.
- His debut solo album “GOLDEN” has stayed on the Weekly Top Albums Global chart for 97 weeks, continuing a record-breaking run.
With every solo track on his Spotify account now boasting over 100 million streams, Jungkook is the first Asian solo artist in history to reach this level of consistency across his catalog.
As of now, his total cumulative stream count on Spotify (based on full credits) stands at approximately 9.589 billion.
