BTS Jungkook surpassed 7 Billion Streams!
BTS Jungkook became the first K-pop solo artist to stream 7 billion streams on Spotify.
Jungkook’s Spotify personal account (profile) surpassed 7 billion streams (before filtering) with all credits on Spotify, the world’s largest music platform, as of Sept. 18.
Jungkook started serving in the military after his first solo album “GOLDEN” released in November last year, but he proved his strong influence as a leading solo artist by showing a steady increase in streaming of about 9 million per day on Spotify.
Jungkook’s first solo single “Seven” has the highest streaming rate with more than 1.89 billion on his Spotify account. The second is the collaborative song “Left and Right” with more than 1 billion won, the third is the title song “Standing Next to You” with more than 880 million won, the fourth is the second solo single “3D” with more than 650 million won, the fifth is the official soundtrack “Dreamers” with the 2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup, and the sixth is the webtoon OST “Stay Alive” with more than 310 million won.
Jungkook has achieved three 700 million streaming songs (Seven, Standing Next to You, Left and Right) among Spotify’s account tracks, setting a new record for the largest number of Asian solo artists. Since opening the Spotify account, Jungkook has created a total of 18 billion streaming songs, the largest number of K-pop solo artists in history.
In addition, Jungkook produced three songs (Seven, Left and Right, Euphoria) that streamed more than 1 billion Spotify.
“Seven” surpassed 1.89 billion streams for the first time as an Asian singer and a K-pop solo song.
