BTS Jungkook Targeted Again: Japanese Woman in Her 50s Booked for Attempted Home Intrusion
Jungkook of BTS has once again fallen victim to a home intrusion attempt, leading to the booking of a Japanese national. The Seoul Yongsan Police Station announced on December 22 that a Japanese woman in her 50s, referred to as “A,” is under investigation for attempted trespassing. Following a request from the complainant’s side, charges of violating the Act on Punishment of Stalking Crimes have also been applied.
According to the police, “A” is accused of repeatedly attempting to bypass the front door lock of Jungkook’s private residence in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, over a three-day period from November 12 to 14. Although the report was filed on November 14, a formal suspect interview has not yet been conducted as “A” is currently not residing in South Korea.
This is not the first time Jungkook has faced such security breaches. Previously, in August, a South Korean woman in her 40s was caught entering his residential parking lot and was forwarded to the prosecution in October. Additionally, a Chinese woman in her 30s who attempted to trespass was granted a suspension of indictment.
The repeated targeting of the global star has raised serious concerns regarding his safety and the ongoing issue of stalking crimes against K-pop artists.
