
KBS banned ‘BTS RM Lost’
BTS RM’s second solo album title song “LOST!” was declared ineligible for broadcasting on KBS.
As a result of the news outlet, IZE’s coverage, 215 songs were asked to judged and 38 out of 215 deliberation songs were judged ineligible for KBS broadcasting as a result of the KBS Song Review on the 22nd.
Among the songs that were judged to be ineligible, signigicant song were the title track of BTS RM’s second solo album “LOST!” and other songs in the album. 9 out of 11 songs were declared ineligible for KBS broadcasting. Including “LOST!” “Right People, Wrong Place,” “Nuts,” “out of love,” “Domodachi (feat. Little Simz),” “Groin,” ” Around the world in a day,” “Credit Roll,” and “Come back to me.” These songs were ineligible for lyrics that used swear words, profanity, and vulgar expressions.
Most of the songs, including BTS RM LOST, are judged ineligible for broadcasting by KBS. By this incident through KBS broadcasting (TV, radio, etc.) audience will not be able to listen to the song. A song that has been judged ineligible for KBS broadcasting can be judged eligible after a re-deliberation after revising or deleting the lyrics pointed out as a problem. However, some artists do not change their songs as it is what they wanted to express.

BTS RM Lost will be revised?or not?
While RM is currently serving in the military, it is expected that the song will not be reviewed. Hence, chances are high that the KBS TV and radio will not be able to listen to RM’s new song.
As a result of the KBS song review, new songs by singers such as DPR CREAM, Kim Gun-woo, CRACKBERRY, JUSTB, and Boybee were judged ineligible for broadcasting.
Meanwhile, RM’s second solo album “Right Place, Wrong Person” will be released at 1 p.m. on July 24. The title track, “LOST!” is an alternative pop genre with a fast tempo, and Kim Han-joo of the band Silica Gel participated in the songwriting. Through the song, RM delivers a message of hope that if he gets lost but if he is with friends, it might be okay for him.
