BTS SUGA DUI charges?
Suga, a member of the group BTS, has been booked on charges of drunk driving on an electric kickboard.
Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced on the 7th that it is investigating Suga on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act (Drunk Driving).
According to police, Suga was found to have fallen alone while riding an electric kickboard when he was drunk in Yongsan-gu the previous day. In response, Suga’s agency Big Hit Music admitted and apologized for Suga’s drunk driving through the fan platform Weverse.
Big Hit Music said, “Suga used an electric kickboard 500 meters while wearing a helmet on his way home from drunk driving on the night of the 6th (Tuesday) and fell when he was parking it. The police around him found it and measured it under the influence of alcohol, and he was fined and revoked his license.”
They then said, “There was no loss of life or property in the incident, but we apologize for disappointing many people due to the artist’s inappropriate behavior. As a social service worker(his military duty), he will receive appropriate disposition from the workplace for actions that caused social controversy.”
Meanwhile, Suga entered the training center in Nonsan, Chungcheongnam-do in March to receive basic military training and is currently working as a social service worker.

Suga used an electric kickboard with his helmet on while returning home drunk on the night of the 6th (Tuesday). He fell when parking after moving about 500 meters, and was fined and revoked after a breathalyzer test through the police nearby. There were no casualties or property damage in the incident, and he returned home under police transfer.
We apologize for the disappointment to many people due to the artist’s inappropriate behavior. As he is a social service worker, he will receive appropriate disposition from his workplace for causing a social stir.
