BTS SUGA Photo Line Controversy, what is it?
While the police have decided to summon Suga (real name Min Yoon-ki, 31) of the group BTS, who is suspected of driving under the influence of electric scooters, this week, it is unlikely to set up a photo line.
An official from the National Police Agency said at a regular press conference held at the Meegeun-dong building in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul on the 19th, “The investigation has not yet been conducted, and we are still coordinating the schedule with Suga,” adding, “We will investigate various suspicions in detail, including how we drove drunk.”
What is Photo Line?
It refers to the coverage boundary set for the convenience of reporters and reporters. It is a made-up expression in Korea. It is prepared to prepare for safety accidents that may occur due to overheating of coverage. If the person covered is a celebrity or a person involved in a famous incident or crime, preparations are needed for this as reporters want to take photos and interview the people.
Regarding whether or not BTS Suga will stand in front of photo line, the official said, “We will make it the same standard as other suspects,” and added, “We will not make a photo line on purpose.”
BTS Suga DUI incident
Suga was caught by police while riding an electric scooter while drunk on the street in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the night of the 6th. Suga’s blood alcohol level was 0.227%, which is known to be far above the standard for revocation of his license (more than 0.08%).
Electric scooters are classified as ‘motorized bicycles’ under the Automobile Management Act. Since this is a car under the Road Traffic Act, driving under the influence of alcohol is subject to criminal punishment.
Suga has been serving as a social service worker since September last year and fulfilling his mandatory military service. He will be released from the military service in June next year.
