Before pre-orders even opened in Korea, Rakuten Japan began early sales. V’s issue swept the entire Top 10 of Rakuten’s K-pop magazine and photobook bestseller chart. On Qoo10 Japan, the W Korea issue featuring V took 17 of the Top 20 spots in the same category, occupying positions 1 through 10 and several more in the top 20.

Consistent Ranking Dominance in Japan
V continues to top various popularity rankings in Japan. On idol ranking site NEHAN, he ranked No.1 for 227 consecutive weeks. On BIHAN, which focuses on Korean actors, he maintained the No.1 spot in the “Korean actors in their 20s” category for 223 weeks straight.

On K-board, he held the No.1 spot for 183 consecutive weeks in the “Most Popular K-pop Idol” category, and ranked first in polls like “Top Korean Drama Actor” and “Visual Star.” He also ranks No.1 across all categories on KPOP JUICE, including the “Favorites” list.

V was also the most-mentioned K-pop artist on X (formerly Twitter) and ranked highest in Japan’s Google Trends, further confirming his strong fanbase and influence in the Japanese market.
