BTS V Urges Fans to Revive “Purple Line” for Safer Airports
BTS member V has called on fans to bring back the “Purple Line” campaign to restore safety and order at airports, following growing concerns over crowd chaos.
During a live broadcast on Weverse on July 28, V stressed the importance of maintaining public safety:
“Airports are public spaces, so we need to maintain order. I’d appreciate it if we could bring back the Purple Line like before.”
The “Purple Line” was a fan-led initiative launched in 2018 that used BTS’s signature purple ribbons to create organized pathways, ensuring safe distances and smooth crowd movement.
V added that better conditions could even bring back the charm of airport fashion:
“If order is maintained, I might even consider dressing up more for the airport—maybe even wear a suit. It’s hard to enjoy photo moments in a chaotic atmosphere. If safety is guaranteed, I can greet fans in a cooler way.”
In addition to this message, V recently made headlines as the new brand ambassador for Coca-Cola Zero in Korea, further solidifying his influence both in music and fashion.
