SMTOWON Tokyo 2024 successfully held
“SMTOWN LIVE 2024 SMC PALACE @TOKYO” held at Tokyo Dome in Japan on the 21st and 22nd. It is shorten as SMTOWN Tokyo 2024, and more than 50 artists who are under SM Entertainment dynasty show their performances. For example, Girls’ Generation, NCT subunits, Super Junior, Red Velvet, aespa and more were on stage. NCT Wish, the last subunit of NCT series, had its debut stage at the show.
The concert was not only held offline but also live streamed by Korean and global fans. It seemed perfect and successful. However, one artist had different opinion about it.
Choi Siwon wasn’t satisfied at SMTOWN Tokyo 2024?
Super Junior member Choi Siwon publicly expressed his feeling about the SM Town performance.
On the afternoon of the 22nd, Choi Siwon posted a tweet on ‘X’, saying, “SM Town performance. Camera and video conversion urgently need improvement.”
Afterwards, he suddenly deleted the post as if he was conscious of public opinion. However, he words garnered more than 150,000 views in an instant.
As it was not just offline concert, but could be seen through online, the camera conversion was one of the topic of ans. The unstable cameras such as capturing the top of the head of an artist during the concert caused fans’ complaints.
In response, SM Town artist fans are showing various reactions to Choi Siwon’s writings, such as “He spoke up for the fans,” “I agree,” and “Why did you delete it all of a sudden?”
