CLEAR:I, the bullies are back?
A new girl group has announced its debut on July 31st with their debut album, ‘Quest.’ Some members of the group were previously idols, and its their second chance. Members called Do Hayoon and Sang were from BOTOPASS (also known as ILUV), and back then they were called as Cui Xiang and Jiho.
Right after their re-debut was announced one person quoted the debut tweet and asked not to support them. The ‘X’ user claimed that they were the bullies, who bullied a member so bad that she attempted suicide. The thread led to ‘nugu promoter’ tweet.
During ILUV activities, Shin Minah (신민아 in Korean) was saved at Han river before she attempted to suicide because of the members’ bullies. After she survived she pointed out that all the members were the perpetrators. The agency denied and sued her for slander. Two of them had legal lawsuit, but Shin Mina won the lawsuits against the agency. While the lawsuit was on, the agency disbanded ILUV and re-debuted some members as BOTOPASS.
After the re-debuted group, BOTOPASS had not so much of achievement the group disbanded again and the two members are trying to reboot with their 3rd group, CLEAR:I.
But it seemed it could be hard for them to reboot, as the quoted tweet that revealing their past are gaining larger attention than the original tweet from the agency. The claims could be false, but the images last long.
