Daesung Concludes 14-Show Asia Tour ‘D’s WAVE’ with Grand Finale in Kaohsiung
Daesung has wrapped up his very first solo Asia tour in spectacular fashion, closing with a sold-out final concert in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on September 20.
The 2025 tour, titled “DAESUNG 2025 ASIA TOUR: D’s WAVE”, began on April 26–27 in Seoul and spanned 11 cities with 14 shows, including stops in Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Hong Kong, Kobe, Singapore, Sydney, Macau, Yokohama, and Kaohsiung. His Seoul performances sold out immediately upon release, proving the enduring draw of the BIGBANG vocalist as a solo artist.
Daesung kicked off the finale with his latest song “Universe,” setting the tone for an energetic night. The setlist included tracks like “Last Girl” (feat. Han Yo Han), “JUMP,” and “Umbrella (Bonus Track),” along with iconic BIGBANG hits like “MONSTER,” “FANTASTIC BABY,” and “BANG BANG BANG.” Fans were treated to a powerful mix of new music and nostalgia, with Daesung’s trademark stage presence in full force.
Speaking through his agency R&D Company (D LABLE), Daesung expressed heartfelt gratitude:
“I was able to finish this tour with so much happiness, all thanks to the fans.
My first solo album, my first solo concert, and now this tour—all of it happened because of you.”
He continued,
“It was my first time, so I was nervous as much as I was excited. But in every city, the passion and energy from the fans gave me the courage to enjoy the stage. Even though we speak different languages, I could feel us becoming one as we sang together and created our own chants.”
Wrapping up, he shared:
“Thank you for staying with me until the very end. I hope this tour is just the beginning, and that we’ll keep filling our diary with beautiful memories together.”
Prior to the final show, Daesung hinted at a possible encore during his 19th debut anniversary radio content “DaeSungBangGa,” raising expectations. As he moves beyond his 19th year in the industry, fans are watching closely to see what comes next for the beloved vocalist.
