DRIPPIN Weekend, new song coming!
The group DRIPPIN (Hwang Yoon-sung, Lee Hyeop, Joo Changuk, Kim Dongyoon, Kim Minseo, and Cha Junho) have confirmed their comeback in August.
At 8 a.m. on the 8th, Woollim Entertainment, the agency, released the image of Drippin’s fifth single, “Weekend,” coming soon and announced the comeback.
The released image caught the eye with a simple design with the new single title “Weekend” written large on a blue background. The cool and refreshing atmosphere suitable for summer heralded the unique charm of Drippin, raising expectations for the comeback.
Driffin’s comeback came about four months after her fourth single, “Beautiful MAZE,” released in April.
In particular, “Beautiful Maze” achieved a “career high” with more than 130,000 initial sales (a week after the album’s release). This is about 10 times the initial sales of the third single “SEVEN SINS” and its own record, proving its “hot” popularity as the album’s initial volume was sold out at once due to a surge in sales.
As Drippin has achieved brilliant results by singing various emotions of the youth of today with clear and refreshing visuals through its previous work, global fans are responding explosively to the news of its first super-fast comeback in four months.
Drippin, who will return to global fans in August when the hot summer peaks, is expected to strengthen its position as a “global trend group” by attracting fans with further upgraded music and stages.
Drippin’s fifth single “Weekend” will be released in August, with details to be released later.
Meanwhile, Drippin successfully completed its solo fan meeting “DRIPPIN with DREAMIN” held in Tokyo, Japan, on the 14th of last month.
