Scooter DUI BTS SUGA, 15 million won fined
Suga, a member of the group BTS , who was summarily accused of driving an electric scooter while drunk, was fined.
According to the legal community on the 30th, Judge Lee Yoo Seop of the Seoul Western District Court summarily ordered a fine of 15 million won on the 27th for BTS Suga, who was summarily indicted for drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act. It is the same amount that the prosecution asked Suga earlier.
A summary order is a procedure in which fines or fines are imposed only on written hearings in cases where the charges are relatively light. In case of objection to this, a formal trial may be requested within 7 days from the date of notification of the order.
Earlier, BTS Suga was briefly indicted on charges of driving an electric scooter while drinking alcohol on the street in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, at around 11 p.m. on June 6. At that time, the blood alcohol level of Suga was 0.227 percent, which is three times the standard for revocation of license (0.08 percent).
