On March 16, ENHYPEN departed from Gimpo International Airport to attend their China fan sign event, which held in Shanghai.
The chaotic ENHYPEN China Fan Sign Event?
The ENHYPEN China fan sign event seemed nice and flawless on the venue. However, the chaos was being made in the artists’ accommodation. Two videos were shared through Weibo, the Chinese social media platform, and it was moved to ‘X,’ and shocked netizens.
First video was, the Chinese ENGENEs (fandom name of ENHYPEN) having a dance battle at the underground parking lot. “A DANCE BATTLE” The reason of the dance battle has not known, but it seemed they were bored while waiting for ENHYPEN. Waiting artist at the hotel could be a problem itself, but making noises while the waiting would be little bit much.
Second video that was shared was the ENGENEs running toward ENHYPEN members. They ran into the members and the crowd was larger than the amount that bodyguards can handle. The bodyguards had to scream and settle the parking lot for the safety.
Everyone knows that it is just minority and not every Chinese fan, but people are worried of ENHYPEN’s safety. They are asking the ENGENEs not to go too close to ENHYPEN members and keep their privacy. Furthermore the fans are demanding agency to protect the artist.
