ENHYPEN Jay Knee Injury, recovering from it?
Group ENHYPEN (JUNGWON HEESEUNG JAY JAKE SUNGHOON SUNOO NIKI) had their showcase on July 11th, 2024. ENHYPEN Jay explained the progress of the knee injury.
ENHYPEN held a showcase to celebrate the release of its second full-length album “ROMANCE: UNTOLD” at SK Handball Stadium in Songpa-gu, Seoul on Wednesday afternoon. Shin A-young hosted the showcase.
Prior to this comeback, Jay felt knee pain after the first performance of the ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR ‘FATE PLUS’ IN JAPAN Hiroshima on the 26th of last month and received treatment from local medical staff.
As a result, Jay received an opinion from the medical staff that he should minimize his movements such as choreography and performance for the time being. As a result, Jay missed the sound check and sat on a chair and performed the stage without choreography. MBC’s “Show! Music Core” in JAPAN featured six members excluding Jay.
Regarding the knee injury, Jay said, “It will be like that for everyone, but it’s also an important comeback for me and for my groups, and every activity, every moment is important. I wanted to do my best to my fans and my team. So I received treatment really hard and got a lot better,” and added, “I’m going to do my best to make this activity without any problems.”
“ROMANCE: UNTOLD” is the first ENHYPEN full-length album in two years and nine months. It tells the story of a boy who makes love with “you” who belong to opposite worlds. The title song “Only If You Say Yes” is about the boy’s willingness to go beyond everything and make his wish come true by making the most of his power if you allow it.
