EVNNE Keita Wins the Trophy
EVNNE, the boy group derived under the Mnet survival audition TV Program, ‘BOYS PLANET,’ has won its first win at ‘Show Champion,’ on January 31st. They were the last winner of January 2024. All of the members were surprised and some members even cried about the first win. All of fans congratulated their first win, but especially EVNNE Keitia was getting support and all the congrats from K-POP fans. Why would they?
The reason why Keita was half crying by the first trophy of his life as the singer with many people’s congratulations is because he received it after 10 years of hard work. Many K-POP fans saw him for years through several survival audition programs and in multiple teams. He was non-stopping trainee who tried his best to achieve his spot in K-POP.
EVNNE Keita and his history of K-POP
Keita is the leader of EVNNE right now, and is under care of Jelly Fish Entertainment for the group activities of EVNNE. His original agency is Rain Company, the agency established under artist Rain. After the project group, ‘EVNNE’ ends it seems he will be back to Rain Company. Before he was in Rain Company, he trained in YG Entertainment.
YG Treasure Box
Keita is born in 2001, and started his trainee life in 2013. When YG had the audition program of its own, ‘YG Treasure Box,’ in 2018 he was already trained for 6 years in YG. He was a contestant of ‘YG Treasure Box,’ in a GROUP J. Group J is the team of YG Japan trainees.
Ciipher
After he was eliminated from the YG audition program, he moved to Rain Company. He was scouted by the artist, Rain. At the new agency, he debuted once as the main rapper of team ‘Ciipher.’ He debuted on March 15, 2021. The team was being active, but it seemed the agency was not satisfied about the scores. The group members had to participate in the auditions. Keita and Tag had to participate in Mnet survival audition program, ‘BOYS PLANET.’

Keita tried hard in the second audition program. He was able to go up to the final, and he ended up as 12th of the program. Trainees ranked from 1st to 9th would debut as the ‘ZEROBASEONE,’ so they are the winning contestants. By this, he was unable to debut as ‘ZEROBASEONE.’
EVNNE Keita
However, ‘BOYS PLANET,’ gave him a new chance. After the audition program, 3 agencies made mind to add the trainees and make a team, that is derived by the program. By that, group EVNNE has made under 3 agencies, Rain Company, Yuehua and Wakeone. The 3 agencies asked Jelly Fish Entertainment for the management, and that is why Keita getting care by Jelly Fish Entertainment. While he was joining EVNNE, his original group Ciipher has disbanded on August 9th, 2023. He had his second debut on September 19th, 2023.
So he had a long journey to debut as EVNNE. He started his training in 2013, so its been 10 years for him to debut as EVNNE Keita. 4 months as EVNNE Keita, Keita wins his first trophy of music show. Because of this long journey he was applauded by all the K-pop fans that know him.
