EXO CHEN EMPTY
CHEN, an idol group EXO member and solo artist, successfully completed his new song.
Chen ended his official activities of “Empty,” the title song of The 4th Mini Album “DOOR” after MBC’s “Show! Music Core,” which aired on the 1st.
Chen, who released “DOOR” on the 28th of last month, proved his vocal skills through a week of activities.
Chen, who returned to the new album in a year and a half after “Last Scene,” showed his musical growth by participating in the work on the album’s title track “DOOR” as well as “Dandelion,” “PLAYLIST,” “Fall In Love Again” and “Remember.”
He appeared on music programs such as Mnet’s “M Countdown,” KBS2’s “Music Bank” and MBC’s “Show! Music Core” to show off his deeper emotional vocals. This was followed by a heated response from global fans.
“DOOR” topped iTunes’ World Wide Albums chart on the day the album was released on May 28. It also topped iTunes in 26 countries including Brazil, Chile, Indonesia, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Russia, and Saudi Arabia, and ranked at the top of the charts in the U.S., Japan, France, Canada, Taiwan and Singapore.
The music video released on the same day is also receiving favorable reviews such as “The most beautiful song I’ve ever heard,” “Fact is that Chen is number one,” “Our empty house is filled because of this song,” and “Even the music video of the musical lyrics is perfect.”
Global fans showed off their popularity as well as photos of Chen’s visit to the KTOWNFORU X pop-up store event in time for his comeback.
