Felix in Laos during his holiday

After he was spotted, news outlets asked Stray Kids’ agency, JYP Entertainment about Felix, if he was really at Laos, volunteering during his holiday. The agency and UNICEF was careful about the details but has said that he went to Laos in his vacation to help others and share love. But pointed out that Felix in Laos, was not an official schedule but he went there individually.
As the news of Stray Kids Felix Unicef volunteer got viral around world, a blurry pictures of him talking and interacting with people were intermittently-uploaded. One of the pictures that was posted online was him at the airport waiting his flight back to Korea. This picture caught people’s eyes, because of the thick bracelet in his wrist.
What is so special about the bracelet?
This bracelet touched international fans who knew the meaning of the bracelet. The thick bracelet was not one bracelet but a thick stack. Actually it was made by numerous bracelets. Felix’s wrists were full of the thin white ropes, which is a bracelet that elders would tie on people to wish good luck for the person. So all of his bracelets meant that there were that many elders wishing him to be happy. He was blessed in Laos by that many elders just in 2 days.
It is a custom of Laos for sure, but getting that many bless from people? It shows who he is. So as the meaning of the bracelet was known, people were warmhearted. People said it was clear that others replied to his good influence with goodness wishing his luck.
