Former EXO Lay opens its concert in Seoul
Lay, a former member of the group EXO who released his solo song “Psychic” in April, will hold a solo concert in Korea next month.
According to Dreammaker Entertainment, the concert organizer, former EXO Lay will meet fans with the world tour Seoul Grand Line 4 Staff in Seoul at the Olympic Park Handball Stadium in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on the 22nd and 23rd of next month.
Lay will meet fans in China, Jakarta, New York and San Francisco, starting with his Seoul performance.
A former member of EXO, Lay established himself as a global star by gaining huge popularity in Asia, including Korea. In particular, he was able to confirm his potential as a singer-songwriter while composing Promise, and he was also recognized for his musicality as a solo artist when he released a solo EP titled Loose Control in 2016, becoming the first EXO member to do so.
In 2018, he became the first Chinese singer to enter the top 25 of the U.S. Billboard 200 chart through his U.S. debut album, “namanana”. Recently, he released a collaboration single with American pop star lauv, “Run Back to you”.
In addition, he has worked in all directions in China, the United States, and Japan, including collaboration with world-renowned DJ Steve Aoki and pop star Jason Derulo.
