G-Dragon and Sana Dating Rumors Denied: Agency Explains the Misunderstanding
G-Dragon’s agency has officially denied recent dating rumors involving TWICE Sana, clarifying that the gesture behind the speculation was merely a sign of friendliness.
Agency Responds to “Lovestagram” Accusations
On June 2, Galaxy Corporation issued a statement saying, “We are contacting you to correct misunderstandings about the recent dating rumors regarding G-DRAGON.”
According to the agency, G-Dragon appeared on the YouTube variety show Cold Interview with Dex and Sana, which was filmed on April 14—just one day after the final broadcast of MBC’s Good Day.
On April 22, G-Dragon attended Coldplay’s concert in Goyang, where TWICE performed as special guests. After the concert, he posted photos and videos on social media and tagged Sana’s personal account in one of them, which fueled the rumors.
The agency clarified, “The tag was a friendly gesture following the shoot. He joined the show due to his relationship with Dex, and Sana’s participation was confirmed just the day before.”
They added, “We didn’t respond immediately to the rumors because revealing details about the shoot could have spoiled G-Dragon’s upcoming appearance.”
Deleted Post Sparked Speculation
The dating rumors initially gained attention after fans noticed that G-Dragon had tagged Sana—rather than TWICE’s official account—in a photo where she appeared on the concert’s big screen. The post has since been deleted, which led to further speculation online.
Galaxy Corporation emphasized that the tag was not intended as a romantic signal. As of May 30, it was officially announced that G-Dragon would appear on the Cold Interview episode with Sana, effectively putting an end to the speculation.
