G-Dragon Press Conference, but NO GD?
Attention is focusing on the future of G-Dragon, who cleared the charges after being investigated by the police on suspicion of “drug administration.” He proved his innocence. After he proved his innocence rumors about his return to YG Entertainment sparked. Galaxy Corporation, which was reportedly discussing an exclusive contract, foreshadowed a press conference.
Galaxy Corporation said on December 20th, “We will hold a press conference on the acquittal of Kwon Ji Yong (G-Dragon’s real name his stage name is under ‘YG’ by trademark rights) of drug use and future activities at the JW Marriott Hotel in Seocho-gu, Seoul at 10 a.m. on the 21st.”
However, G-Dragon will not attend the event. Instead, the representatives of the Galaxy Corporation will give an overview of the case of G-Dragon’s alleged drug use and deliver their views on police, false information, women, and haters. The company will also announce its plans for next year’s activities of G-Dragon.
EVERYONE IN CONFUSE
The news of the press conference was reported shortly after the rumor of G-Dragon signed a new contract with his former agency, YG, so it is drawing more attention. When the news outlets asked about it YG said, “It is difficult to confirm” about G-Dragon’s return. Galaxy Corporation answered, “Please check it through G-Dragon press conference.”
So it is making people confused. If G-Dragon is really with Galaxy Corporation, he would attend the ‘G-Dragon Press Conference’ himself. However, even Galaxy Corporation confirmed he won’t attend. On the other hand, if he is not with Galaxy Corporation then how would Galaxy explain G-Dragon’s future plans? They won’t have a right to establish the plan of his future, if he did not sign an exclusive contract.
