GDragon Hires One of Korea’s Top 4 Law Firms to Combat Malicious Posts
Galaxy Corporation declares zero tolerance for false rumors, defamation, and malicious attacks
On September 12, Galaxy Corporation—artist G-Dragon’s agency—announced it is taking strong legal action against the spread of false information, defamation, and malicious online content targeting the artist.
“We are currently pursuing legal action against rights violations stemming from groundless rumors and malicious postings directed at G-Dragon,” the company said in an official statement.
According to the agency, they are working with law enforcement authorities, based on both fan-submitted reports and independent monitoring, to investigate and respond to harmful content.

Galaxy Corporation has retained Yulchon LLC, one of South Korea’s top four law firms, to lead its legal response. Yulchon is now closely monitoring online communities and social media platforms, collecting evidence and identifying posts containing:
- False claims
- Malicious slander
- Defamatory statements
- Any expression—whether by name, abbreviation, initial, or nickname—that could clearly refer to the artist
“Fan reports are also being actively used as key legal evidence,” the agency emphasized.
They confirmed that criminal and civil actions are underway and that the company will respond without any settlements or leniency.
“This Is a Criminal Offense. You Will Be Prosecuted.”
The agency delivered a clear warning:
“Posting or spreading unverified rumors, malicious comments, or harmful videos is a clear violation of the law.
We strongly warn against engaging in such activity. Those responsible may face legal consequences under the Information and Communications Network Act and the Criminal Act.”
Galaxy Corporation concluded the statement by thanking fans for their continued support and reaffirmed its commitment to protecting G-Dragon’s rights through strict monitoring and aggressive legal action.
