(G)I-DLE I SWAY!
The group (G)I-DLE will make a comeback in six months.
According to the agency, Cube Entertainment on the 10th, (G)I-DLE will release their seventh mini album “I SWAY” next month. “Sway” means “shaking” and is presumed to be related to the genre that (G)I-DLE will show this time.
The “I SWAY” comeback poster introduced on the day included the phrase “SUMMER VACATION”, a cassette player in a pink yellow color combination, and a classic open car design.
(G)I-DLE confirmed their popularity with their second full-length album, “2” (Two), which was released in January, recording a record 1.53 million copies, the highest number of copies sold a week after the album’s release. This record, which ranks as the fifth best girl group in history, is also the best record for a girl group album this year.
At the same time, (G)I-DLE will visit fans on a world tour in the second half of this year. Starting with Seoul on August 3rd and 4th, the “2024 (G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR [iDOL] IN SEOUL” will be held in 14 cities around the world, including Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Sydney.
All tickets for the second round were sold out in just 10 minutes at the general booking of the concert in Seoul earlier. With her strong live performance and “Fate,” which is considered the best song of the year, she led the university festival to sing along.
