The group (G)I-DLE’s Jeon Soyeon explained about the performance that rewritten the expiration date of the contract.

Jeon Soyeon also pointed out about her agency, Cube Entertainment. “As we have worked together for more than 10 years, we don’t feel negative about the company by just reading articles that have been published in the media. Words can be different from intentions even if they are misrepresented,” she said. “However, I think it was an opportunity to feel our company’s inadequacy in responding to any kind of response.”
Jeon Soyeon concluded, “I will try to develop together, so I hope that the uncomfortable feelings such as worry and hate can disappear a little.”
Jeon Soyeon performed a solo performance with “Is this bad b number?” at the group (G)I-DLE recent solo concert “IDOL,” and during the performance, she cursed, saying, “Do I have to read the room?” and caused controversy by saying, “My contract ends in November. Who’s going to stop me?” The agency, Cube Entertainment, responded, “All the members are renewing their contracts next year, and Jeon Soyeon’s argument for renewing their contracts in the second half of this year is only part of the lyrics performance.”
On the 3rd, Soyeon drew attention by performing an ad-lib during her solo performance on the world tour, “The contract ends in November. who will stop me?” (G)I-DLE, who debuted in 2018, is about to renew their contracts in seven years since their debut.
