ENHYPEN Jungwon react video goes viral
How the situation started
ENHYPEN is one of the idols who do ‘Weverse’ live frequently to communicate with their fans. It wasn’t much different on December 12, 2023. ENHYPEN leader Jungwon and Jake were having live streaming broadcast with fans. The members talked about various topics, and one of the topic was about their photo booth event. The group was having a collaboration event with ‘Photoism.’ It is a collaboration that happens a lot between idols and the photo booth company. The idol group will take a 4-cut picture first, and it would be used as a photo frame. Then, fans can take a photo posing next to members’ frames.
ENHYPEN members were curious about how fans felt about their Photo Booth event. They knew ENGENE (fandom name of ENHYPEN) enjoys the event, but wanted to see how they enjoy. So they started to find ENGENE-log (ENGENE’s vlog) in YouTube, and found one video.
ENHYPEN Jungwon React and The Part
ENHYPEN Jungwon and Jake were not showing the fans’ vlog to audience, but they were just taking their reaction video. They were watching the video in curious, however Jungwon started to crack up. He was laughing too hard. So fans got curious what made ENHYPEN Jungwon to react that big. Fans were laughing, too after seeing the original fans’ vlog. She was sending ‘fuck you’ sign on the screen.
Why she did ‘fuck you’?
Basically every photo booth in Korea make people to get two printed photographs. So the customers can share the printed photographs with their friends. But for idols’ photo booth event, they do not have someone to share with, unless the fan sends the printed photo to the idol. It costs $7 USD dollars in two pieces. So the fan wanted to make the amount in one piece, but it doesn’t work in the machine. So she was showing how she was annoyed.
By this cute moment, Jungwon couldn’t stop laughing so hard. He knows fans’ joke, too. Knowing that the fans always shouted, “It’s a selfie with you and me, so you should pay for half the amount!” he laughed even more happily.
