It’s HYBE.
We inform you about the legal action to protect New Jeans’ rights and interests.
In addition to the release of the new music video scheduled for the 27th, New Jeans will continue various activities, including the release of a double single in May and June. We will do our best to support New Jeans so that their comeback activities will not disrupted.
Recently, a number of malicious posts have been detected that violate artists’ rights and undermine their reputation, such as defamation against artists, baseless malicious slander, and ridicule and disparagement. Although we have been taking legal action against New Jeans at all times, we decided to appoint additional law firms to protect artists’ rights and interests as we believe that the malicious behavior toward the members has reached a serious level.
HYBE will take all possible legal action to protect New Jeans by collecting all violations of the artist’s rights and interests. I would like to inform you that we will take strong action by applying the principle of zero tolerance without leniency and agreement in the same way as our existing legal action stance.
At the same time, we will provide support to artists for psychological healing and emotional stability. We sincerely ask you to stop indiscriminate attacks and disparaging toward artists.
