Stray Kids Hyunjin donated 100 million won (approximately 74138 USD) for the hearing impaired people.
Recently, Hyunjin donated 100 million won to the “snail of love” to celebrate his birthday on March 20. The “snail of love” is a social welfare organization that provides artificial cochlear surgery and hearing aids to hearing impaired people to find sounds and to help children adjust to society and improve public awareness. Hyunjin’s donation will be used for projects for the hearing-impaired, including replacement of external devices of cochlear aids and speech rehabilitation treatment.
Through this donation, Hyunjin has been named as a member of the “Love Snail Soul Leader,” a club that has donated more than 99 million won. Through his agency, JYP Entertainment, Hyunjin said, “As an artist who shares joy through music, I decided to participate because I wanted to be a little help in finding the sound. Although it is a small sharing, I want to share the precious love that I received from my fans and enjoy the joy of music together.”

Last year, Hyunjin donated 100 million won to emergency relief projects for the disaster happened in Turkiye and Syria through the international relief organization,’The Promise’, and was commissioned to the “The Promise Honors Club,” a group of high-value donors.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids won the “K-pop Album of the Year” award with their third regular album “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” (Five Star) at the “2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards” held in Los Angeles on April 1 (local time). They will perform as “Triple Headliner,” a large overseas music festival, at “I-Days” in Milan, Italy, on July 12, “I-Days” in London, the U.K., on July 14, and “Lollapalooza Chicago” in Chicago, the U.S., on August 2.
