ILLIT agency files complaint against Min Hee Jin
ILLIT agency, BE:LIFT Lab filed a complaint against CEO Ador Min Hee Jin.
“Today (May 22), we filed a complaint against CEO Min Hee Jin for obstruction of business and defamation, who is causing damage by claiming unilateral false information against us and our artists,” BE:LIFT Lab said on the 22nd.
“We clarify that it is not true in relation to Min Hee Jin’s allegation of plagiarism against the artist ILLIT,” he said. “We have submitted evidence to the judicial authorities to prove that the allegations are different from the facts, and even if it takes some time, we will sort out the disputes according to the due process.”
“The plagiarism of intellectual assets is a matter that must be judged according to reasonable standards and procedures, not unilateral and distorted interpretation by individuals,” the agency said. “Nevertheless, we express regret over the situation in which the efforts and achievements of our artists and members are denigrated due to reckless speculation and false facts.”
Regarding ILLIT, he said, “Although this issue has nothing to do with ILLIT, ILLIT members are suffering from a serious level of malicious comments, ridicule, and personal attacks. I sincerely ask you to stop malicious attacks such as indiscriminate insults, malicious slander, dissemination of false information, and defamation against artists.”
Earlier, CEO of Ador Min Hee Jin claimed that the group ILLIT, produced by Chairman HYBE Bang Si Hyuk, plagiarized New Jeans. In addition, HYBE and ADOR continues to fight fiercely, claiming the discriminatory treatment of ILLIT and New Jeans.

We have submitted evidence to the law enforcement agency to prove that the allegations are different from the facts, and even if it takes some time, we will sort out the disputes according to the due process.
Plagiarism of intellectual property is a matter that must be judged according to reasonable standards and procedures, not an individual’s unilateral and distorted interpretation. Nevertheless, we regret that the efforts and achievements of our artists and members are being denigrated by reckless speculation and false facts.
In addition, although the essence of this matter has nothing to do with ILLIT, ILLIT members are suffering from a serious level of malicious comments, ridicule, and personal attacks. We sincerely ask that malicious attacks such as indiscriminate insults, malicious slander, dissemination of false information, and defamation against artists be stopped.
