“The company has taken legal action against the creators of malicious posts such as defamation, insults, sexual harassment, false information, and malicious slander against Eilit. We will inform you of the progress made.”
“Even though they are a new artist who has only debuted three months ago, the form of writing malicious posts for ILLIT is very malicious and over-the-top. The company judged that strong legal action was urgently needed to protect new artists. As a result, we have collected all kinds of malicious posts and comments from all channels at home and abroad since our debut, and have submitted a complaint to the investigative agency,” he explained.
“Even if a malicious post is deleted to leave no evidence after writing it, we collect all the posts by collecting them in real time,” the agency said. “As a result, we have filed complaints with the police against hundreds of defendants and are currently investigating them at an investigative agency. We will always collect and file complaints against malicious posts on a regular basis.”
Lastly, “We will continue to take stern measures against malicious actors based on the evidence collected through fan reports and self-monitoring to protect the rights and interests of artists, and will hold them accountable until the end even if it takes time. We have taken legal action against the creators of malicious posts, including defamation, insults, sexual harassment, false information, and malicious slander against ILLIT.
Even though they are a new artist who has only debuted three months ago, the form of malicious postings against ILLIT is very malicious and excessive. We judged that strong legal action was urgently needed to protect new artists. As a result, even before the announcement of how to report legal action, we have collected all kinds of malicious posts and comments from all channels at home and abroad since our debut, and have submitted a complaint to the investigative agency.
The subject of this complaint included all those who wrote malicious posts and comments on domestic communities (Naver, Nate Pann, The Qoo, DC Inside, Insteez, Daily Best, etc.), music sites (Melon, Bugs Music, Genie Music, etc.), and overseas SNS channels (X, Instagram, YouTube, etc.). Even if a malicious post is deleted to leave no evidence after writing it, we collect all the posts in real time.
As a result, hundreds of defendants have filed complaints with the police, and investigative agencies are currently investigating them. In addition, malicious posts will be collected at all times and complaints will be filed regularly.
In order to protect artists’ rights and interests, we will continue to take stern action against malicious actors based on fan reports and evidence gathered through self-monitoring, and will hold them accountable until the end, even if it takes time.
