Previously, a chaotic controversy was made after several news outlet made allegation on Min Heejin.
Min Hee Jin and HYBE are actually having power struggle over the control of ADOR, the agency taking care of New Jeans. Min Hee Jin wants to become independent from HYBE, and HYBE wants to stop her from leaking sensitive informations of HYBE. Min Hee Jin has opened her mouth about conflict between her and HYBE, that ILLIT copying New Jeans officially. - The weight of public saying that someone copied, or looking similar and what the representative says with her own mouth is very different. And isn’t there a consensus in any profession to produce new works, they copy each other little by little? I’ve always felt that, her ego is too enormous.
- (reply) 2 I totally agree with you. They did not steal any idea or patent. Just having as a reference is so normal in any fields, and even she did by herself but she can’t stand others doing to her is so ridiculous.
- When we think about the statement of HYBE released yesterday said Min Hee Jin has allegation on doing negative media play on other HYBE artists, and one of the groups that was mentioned by Min Hee Jin, had bunch of postings saying they were a copycat of New Jeans…ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

- Why are you acting like that…making BTS after copying you..? I am not a fan of BTS, but at the point of BTS’ debut they were pure hiphop. I can’t think of any similar artists.

- I’ve felt this before, but I feel like she is looking down on everything except New Jeans, the work she made. I’ve never seen a representative who ignores people in the same industry like this.
- Saying ‘Plot Twist’ is similar to New Jeans seems too much for me.
So Koreans are actually disagreeing with Min Hee Jin saying ILLIT TWS RIIZE all copied New Jeans, and saying BTS copied one of her artworks. Some agrees that ILLIT and New Jeans have similarity, but are saying it is too much for her to say it is plagiarism.
