A reporter of MBC is getting suspicion of making fun of New Jeans Minji. Many of K-pop lovers would know New Jeans Minji’s apology that previously happened. She apologized of her attitude during her live broadcasting with fans. She was under pressure of how people judged her after ‘Kalguksu’ incident. (CLICK HERE to see her apology.) By people it was something unnecessary to apologize about. Bunnies, the fandom of New Jeans, even felt sad that she had to apologize and reflect herself seriously because of that ‘KALGUKSU’ incident. So by this, it is sure that ‘KAL GUK SU’ is not a positive word for New Jeans Minji and her fans.

MBC reporter using Kalguksu, making fun of New Jeans Minji?

At this point, using Kalguksu word on Minji won’t be nice way of treating. However, one MBC reporter has used ‘kalguksu’ as the title of her article. The title meaning is “the beauty of the angle, and the beauty of the international world.” But when we look closer she made an acrostic poem with “Kal Guk Su.” ‘Kalgak mimo, Gukjaejeok, Suryeoham,’ is the pronunciation of the title. So it feels offensive to fans and looks like the reporter was deriding of New Jeans Minji’s Kalguksu incident.

By this article fans are asking the reporter to apologize about the title. Fans are saying there was no reason to make fun of it. Now on ‘X’, former Twitter, there are hashtag #GoDaeHyunApologizetoMinji. ‘Go Dae Hyun’ is the reporter’s name.
