EDAM relocation without telling IU?
EDAM Entertainment, the agency of singer and actress IU, is drawing the ire of her fans with “no communication with their artist.” They are suspected of moving the company address without telling IU.
On the 21st, EDAM Entertainment uploaded the agency’s moving notice and guided the changed address on IU’s fan cafe, saying, “The address has been changed due to the relocation of the company, so we will inform you how to apply for support. We can’t receive mail with the existing address, so please don’t make a mistake.”

Fans raised questions about the EDAM relocation process until the notice was posted. When fan letters sent to the agency were returned, fans asked IU, who had a communication session at the fan cafe, if the agency had moved. IU responded, “From what I know, they did not move. Did they do it without me knowing? At least I don’t think so.” So she did not know about EDAM relocation.
However, as the agency belatedly announced the move, suspicions arose that the agency may have moved without noticing IU about it. Moreover, fans are saying that it is absurd that there are only two entertainers belonging to Edam Entertainment, IU and singer Woodz.
Earlier in April, EDAM Entertainment was criticized for suspecting a fan who booked a ticket for IU’s concert as a fraudulent ticket trader and demanding excessive clarification data. As the incident even criticized IU, fans strongly criticized the agency and staged a truck demonstration.
In addition to this, suspicions have been added that the agency has moved without letting their artist to know about. In addition, fans are angry that there was no communication, such as belated notification even though the address to which the fan letter was directed was changed.
