IVE Tokyo Dome Concert being successful!
IVE made the front page of a local Japanese newspaper.
According to its agency Starship Entertainment on the 5th, local media, including Nikkan Sports, Tokyo Chunichi Sports, Sankei Sports, and Sports Hochi, produced a special edition that spotlights Ive’s Tokyo Dome performance.
These newspapers highlighted their hot popularity, saying, “IVE’s first TOKYO!” “IVE makes a two-day historical performance with Dive (Ive fan club name),” and “I’ve achieved my childhood dream.”
IVE’s Tokyo Dome performance is part of the first world tour, “IVE THE 1ST WORLD TOUR” SHOW WHAT I HAVE.” The two-day encore concert held its first performance on the 4th, and more than 40,000 audiences visited Tokyo Dome to see IVE on that day alone.
The last performance of the “Show What I Have” encore concert will be held on the 5th. The audience for Ive’s two-day performance at Tokyo Dome is about 95,000.
As it was a large-scale performance, the Tokyo Dome neighborhood near the Tokyo Dome on the 4th and 5th, when IVE performed, was truly crowded. The sight of the concert hall, which was able to feel its high popularity, proved that Ib was successful in entering the Tokyo Dome.
Meanwhile, IVE hit the local charts with its new mini album “ALIVE,” which was released in Japan on April 28. “Alive” topped the Oricon Daily Chart (August 28-30) for three consecutive days and topped the Billboard Japan Top Album Sales Chart on August 4 (aggregate period: August 26, 2024 to September 1, 2024).
